Dawn Oates is a writer and disability advocate living in Boston. She holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Emerson College, where she earned a nomination Best Master’s Thesis and taught writing. She also holds degrees in Public Relations and Psychology from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Her work has been published in Boston magazine, Boston Home, Elegant Wedding, and Computerworld, among others.
